3 radio stations broadcast from The Irish House Party on St Patricks Day

There was a brilliant atmosphere at The Irish House Party on St Patrick’s Day as BBC Radio and Celtic Radio Scotland broadcasted live from the show. In the middle of all the madness we received a live on air call from Star FM in Australia. It was 7am in the morning over there when their breakfast show rang us. It’s a funny call. After the music and dancing finished at 10pm a session got going in the bar where lots of local musicians turned up. If you were there that night you experienced a great traditional Irish music session which continued well into the night. A big thanks to Patsy the bar man for looking after us all!
